Iridescent Fairy Door

Invite some magic into your life one of our "a-door-able" fairy doors. Place these enchanted doors in your home or garden, creating a mystical portal that allows the fae folk to travel between their realm and ours. Please remember that we, as humans, do not have the ability to open these doors, only the fairies can open them. :)

Our Pips are the tiniest doors we create, standing at only 2 3/4" tall and 3" wide. These doors fit perfectly on a baseboard, or tucked inside a window sill. The tiniest sprites will be so happy to find this door, knowing they are welcome to stay.

All our doors are handcrafted using only premium red cedar. Cedar is the only wood that can withstand the elements untreated. However, we use an exterior finish to protect the colour from fading over time. The Pips" frames have been stained in a rich red mahogany. Each little door has been hand painted with acrylic paints. In this case, the colours are: blue, pink and a cool iridescent. The hardware we choose is either zinc based, copper or bronze. These metals tend to age nicely over time, adding character to the door. A keyhole has been cut into the back of the door to hang from a screw or nail.

Fairy doors make a great addition to your garden. Simply place them amongst the flowers, lean against a tree or a rock. If you prefer to keep your door inside, they look great along the baseboard, on a stair riser or even just hung on the wall.

Our doors are shipped in a gift box with a write up on the back explaining who we are, what a fairy door is and where to place them. Makes a great gift for all ages.
